The Wireless University Forum (www.TWUF.com) is the largest global online community for academia and industry in the field of wireless technology.

Through TWUF, companies can advertise student placements and graduate opportunities to over 900 universities throughout Europe, have access to some of the brightest students and recruit the best in the field.

In the last 8 months, Symbian, Vodafone and Thales have successfully recruited students for 8 placements out of 522 applicants, across a wide variety of different project areas. Many have high 2:1 and first class honor degrees (or European equivalent) and have been offered full-term employment.

Symbian, Vodafone, Thales, Turner Broadcasting, Qualcomm and Sybase have raised awareness of their company amongst a huge number of universities across Europe and recruited from universities they otherwise would not have had contact with.

TWUF currently operates in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain,Sweden, Finland, Greece and the USA.

TWUF’s primary objective is to bring wireless companies together with students for placement opportunities and graduate recruitment. It’s secondary objective is to act as a communication platform between companies, students and lecturers and with each other for the advancement of ideas, knowledge sharing and for collaborative research.
